Terms of Use

Last updated: 18 October 2026

These terms apply when you play the games at marcallabs.co.uk, run by Marcal Labs. By playing, you agree to them. They are written in plain English; if anything is unclear, ask us through the Contact us page.

Free to play

Our games are free. There are no accounts, purchases or adverts. We make them for fun, and we may change, add to, pause or stop any game at any time.

Your saved games

Saved games, characters and adventures are kept in your browser, and on our website if you use a save code. We look after them carefully, but we cannot promise they will never be lost (for example, if your browser's data is cleared, or a game is changed). Keep a note of your save code, and never share it with anyone you would not want playing your game.

Playing fairly and kindly

When you play, please do not:

We may delete names, chat, realms or saves that break these rules, and block anyone who misuses the site.

Puzzles and adventures you send us

If you send us a puzzle or a Mini Adventure, you confirm it is your own work (or that you have the right to share it), and that it contains nothing offensive. You keep the rights to it, and you give Marcal Labs free, lasting permission to use, change, and show it in our games. We may choose not to use it, or remove it later.

Our games and the art in them

The games, their stories and their code belong to Marcal Labs. Some of the models, pictures and sounds are made by other generous creators and used under their licences; they are listed on each game's Credits screen. Please do not copy the games or put them on another website without asking.

No guarantees

We do our best to keep the games working, but they are provided as they are, without any promise that they will always be available, free of mistakes, or suitable for any particular purpose. Take breaks, and play somewhere safe: we are not responsible for loss or harm caused by playing, except where the law says we must be. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have by law that cannot be limited.

Your information

How we handle information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Changes and the law

We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top shows when. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disagreement will be dealt with by the courts there (or in your own part of the UK if you live elsewhere in the UK).
